Legging love

I’ve gotten a little bored with jogging bottom style trousers for Fig, so started to shop around for something reasonably priced but a little more funky. Jojo Maman Bebe offered me the perfect alternative: leggings.

They have a buy-one-get-one-half-price offer on leggings at the moment, so I jumped all over it, and got Fig these with a little aeroplane on the bum, and these with a fox. Fig is almost six months old, and I went for the 6-12 month size, fearing they would be massive, but they fit him perfectly.  I’m going to get another two pairs (dinosaur butt and bus butt) in the next size up for him to grow into. What’s so great about them?  They’re super cute and the fact that the image is on the bum celebrates the fact that your baby is starting to crawl, and I really love that.  And as I discovered today when I took out Fig out in his Babybjorn, they don’t ride up, exposing chubby little calves to the elements, so Fig’s leggy peggies stay toasty warm when we’re out having adventures.

And on an entirely personal note, they clash with every top and pair of socks Fig owns, and I love a baby in a clashing outfit.  If you can’t clash at six months, when can you clash?
